About
Kia ora koutou. I call Tauponui a Tia my home, a place steeped in the rich history and heritage of our eponymous ancestor Tia. The legacy of Tauponui a Tia resonates through the land, connecting us to a lineage that includes tupuna such as Tutetawha, Tutemohuta, Parekawa, Te Kohera, Tia, and Ngatoroirangi. Each name carries with it a story, the warp and weft of their lives that weaves the Taniko of our whakapapa today.
